Breathing some life into the living room

The moment I saw this wall, I knew it had to go! This wall was the barrier between the living room and living space in the beautiful backyard at The Green BnB with a huge maple tree and an alcove of hazel and elder trees.  The previous owner of this house used the ground floor as a doctor's office.  With his family living on-site and sometimes enjoying the yard, the old owner installed glazed windows to totally block the view from the public office indoors to the private family’s yard. 

But, out with the old and in with the new! 

This new open space will eventually let guests enjoy the beauty of the backyard from the comfort of the living room couch.
